1. Why should I Join LinoLounge?

LinoLounge offers a unique network of EU affairs related professionals, and combines the possibilities of a job board with the access to a database powered by a detailed search functionality.

So you should join as a recruiter for or at least 3 reasons:

1. Extremely affordable price packages;
2. Job board combined with the access to a high quality database of EU experts
3. Easy search engine to find the perfect candidate, classified by name, keyword, location and/or practice area.

2. How much does it cost?

For recruiters, we offer three packages, that include different options and different lengths of access to our experts' database. For more details, check out our latest offers here.

3. How will my Assignment be visible and who can see it?

The length during which your assignment is visible varies according to the package you have subscribed to. For more details, check out our different packages here. The LinoLounge job board is not public: only experts that are members of the LinoLounge network can access the assignments that have been posted on the network. This limits the number of people accessing your ads on the one hand, but ensures that you ads are looked at by a targeted audience that is most likely to be interested by them.

4. Do you offer Bundled subscriptions to LinoLounge?

Our system at this stage does not permit a head hunter to be part of the Experts' network. The contrary is however possible, i.e. and Expert can post a job ad on our job board. For that purpose, the expert will however have to log in separately depending on the "hat" he/she is wearing.

5. How Can i post multiple assignments and do you offer discounts?

Normally, each assignment requires buying a separate package. However, at LinoLounge, we like loyalty in our customers and do reward it by offering discounts. for that purpose, you need to contact us at customerservice@lobbyplanet.eu for customized packages and pricing.

EXPERTS' FAQ

1. What is Lino Lounge?

LinoLounge is the place where EU experts can spot jobs ads, freelance opportunities, or be hunted directly by recruiters.

But LinoLounge is so much more than just a place where offer meets demand! It’s a place where EU experts can exchange information, spot colleagues in their own sector or in others to create coalitions or assess the impact of certain legislative proposals, gossip on who does what in the EU bubble, warn about useful trainings (or against less useful ones), share events, etc. and hopefully end up meeting in real life for a drink or a proper lunch on place Luxembourg!

2. What benefits can I get from putting my Profile on LinoLounge?

LinoLounge allows professionals dealing with EU institutions to register their profile, for multiple reasons:

• Discover new allies to build coalitions
• Discover mission postings by companies looking for support from professionals active on the EU scene
• Advertise your skills and competencies

3. How can I maximize the benefits from registering my profile on LinoLounge?

Create a profile that truly represents you and is as accurate as possible. This will help the right people and opportunities to find you. The keywords you attach to your profile and the practice areas you indicate are especially important.

4. Who will see my profile?

The rule at LinoLounge is that, once you're in the network, you allow everyone in the network as well as recruiters to see your profile. You also do not make "friends" or "contacts" but just mark as "favourites" the profiles that you want to keep in touch with or just want to save for future purposes.

But LinoLounge offers you two "zones". The general one, when you log in, is where you input a profile that sets out your career and skills,as well as your areas of practivce in EU matters. No whistles and bells there: you will not be asked for your status updates, nor will you be able to post pictures of your kids, dog, unpleasant neighbour...We do not give you access to fancy applications: no (super) pokes, no snowball fights, no werewolves (just a few rhinos), no silly gifts, etc. Lino likes it the good old simple and straightforward way in that part of the lounge.

However, no lounge would be complete if you didn't have the "VIP room". For experts (and not recruiters) that wish to participate more dynamically in LinoLounge, clicking on the "forum" tab of our menu will bring them to a more active social network, based at present on the "Ning" platform. There, visible to peers only, they can rejoice in all the fancy stuff social networks allow them to do.

5. Can i close my account?

You can close your account at any time just by sending us an email to customerservice@lobbyplanet.eu . Please note that once we receive a request for deletion, such a deletion will be irrevocable: we do not keep back-ups or further records of deleted profiles.

6. Can I save my favorite job assignments?

At this stage, this is not yet possible but we are definitely working on it.

7. how do i connect to other experts?

Simply by sending them an email to the address they have indicated in their profile or by connecting to them through the forum.

8. Do i need to register and login to view the job assignments?

Yes, you do. Membership as expert to LinoLounge is free but registration is not automatic: you need to be approved by Lino!
